Denise Acker Marandola, Ph.D.

Dr. Denise Marandola is a Clinical Psychologist who received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Morningside College. Master’s Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Dakota. She has been an Adjunct Professor with USD for approximately 18 years, supervising many Clinical Psychology Ph.D. students at various placement Sites in Sioux City, IA and South Sioux City NE. She is also on the Board at Mid-Step Services in Sioux City, with a strong interest in helping those with disabilities. She works with individuals of all age ranges, from early childhood to senior adults. She provides individual, couples, group and marital therapy, as well as a full range of psychological assessment services. Dr. Marandola is eclectic in her therapeutic techniques but tends to focus on clinically/research-based Cognitive-Behavioral therapy in her treatment approach.
